“High energy movement meditation to liberate your creative dance force. Yoga Trance Dance is a meeting of two great rivers, yoga and dance, which come from and are untied at the source. The infinite creative source is the One, uniting us all. Yoga and dance are two of the oldest paths back home.” Shiva Rea, teacher of Yoga Trance Dance & Prana Flow.

Come and join Kara-Leah in a two hour exploration of yoga and dance.

Kara-Leah spent most of her 20s dancing – in nightclubs, at raves & outdoor parties and at sporting events. She experienced firsthand the powerful transformative energies of the dance.

Naturally, when Kara-Leah began to practice yoga at home, it often spun out into dance – something Kara-Leah was afraid wasn’t “real yoga”, and even felt guilty doing. Then she discovered Shiva’s teaching of Prana Flow & Trance Dance. Freedom! It’s ok to dance and practice yoga all at the same time! Yoga and dance are one and the same – breath-led movement designed to free our souls.

This class will follow the format of a yoga class, but with the space to explore and play, taking asana into spontaneous movement, and eventually free-form dance.

No need to pre-register, just stop by! Contact Kara-Leah for more information.

“Our intention is to bring greater fluidity, breath, range of motion, stamina for life, and embodied joy into our beings and our lives.” Shiva Rea

Kara-Leah is a certified 200 Hr Prana Flow Yoga teacher and has studied with Shiva Rea, including a Yoga Trance Dance Immersion. She has been practicing yoga for over a decade, and teaching for five years. Yoga is no longer something that happens on a mat, but a way of being that infuses every element of her life, including her dancing.
